Hello there.

I design and write content that’s engaging, accessible and inclusive. What matters to me is understanding the challenges that people have, and then finding solutions for them that are as simple and usable as possible.

The content I produce is grounded in research, informed by data and tested with users. I work well with design squads, and I enjoy contributing ideas and challenging each other’s thinking.

I’m able to communicate ideas clearly and help stakeholders to understand the rationale behind design decisions. This has helped me to deliver projects effectively.

I champion the use of plain English and I always try to be a voice for the user throughout the process. Wherever I’m working I try to show the benefits of content design principles, and how they can improve experiences.

I bring lots of experience from big brands where I’ve worked across apps, websites, emails, and print. I’ve managed copy teams, and I’ve coached and mentored writers with their development.

Currently I’m working at Barclays as a UX writer in the mortgages squad. I manage my time between complex app journey projects, and everyday content updates.

Previously I was a copy manager at John Lewis where I worked on both UX projects and creative briefs from across the business. I worked on a wide variety of things from appointment booking tools to the Christmas advert campaign (and everything in between).
